Scrumblr

Scrumblr is an online space that allows you to easily create, share, and organize index cards. This an extremely simple interface, great for any classroom and all levels.  Log on to the site and name your board.  The more unique the name the better; if you choose the same name as someone else you will log on to a live board.  You should see a blank board if your board name has not been used.  There is a plus button on the board to add columns to organize your notes.  The plus button on the bottom of the screen allows you to add note cards to the board.  The card colors are random, but colored dots at the bottom of the screen can be used to color code cards as needed.  Simply double click to rename the columns and add text to the cards.

Multiple people can log on to the same unique URL and manipulate the content and board.  Please note that others can delete your content or change your organization when sharing the board.  Also, the board cannot be saved.

Classroom Integration Ideas:
  • Categorization activity: similar and different
  • Use as a story board
  • Brainstorming chart
  • Notes
  • Characterization activity
  • KWL Chart
  • Use with your Smartboard

  1. I am always looking for creative ways for my students to learn their Spanish vocabulary. This is a creative way to organize and sort different vocab words. Each student could make a 3 C's chart and put the vocab in three separate categories of cognates, connectables, and collectables
