AR Flashcards App

The AR Flashcards app puts a new spin on the traditional set of alphabet flashcards.  AR stands for Augmented Reality a technology that layers a computer-generated image on a user's view of the real world.  The AR Flashcards app is available for iOS and/or Android devices.

Begin by printing the flashcards at http://arflashcards.com/flashcards/ or flashcards can be displayed on a monitor or mobile device.

                                     

Open the application on your device and point the camera to the letter targets to see the animal appear. Touch the animal to have the letter read out loud and to hear the animal name.

         

Flashcards can be arranged in any order and placed/hung anywhere in the room.

Classroom Integration Ideas:

• Use AR Flashcards during small group instruction to allow students to practice and review letter identification.  

• Place Flashcards out of order in various places around the classroom and assign students various learning walk assignments. 
• For Example: 
• Find all vowels
• Find 5 consonants
• Find the following letters in order (K-R)
