We featured Tellagami in a blog post last year, but there are so many ways you and your students can use Tellagami, we felt like it was worth sharing again.
Tellagami is a free app that uses photos, voice, and character customization to bring your story to life.
It's easy to use and works on both the iPhone and iPad.
To get started open the App and click Create.
Your first step will be to customize your character, changing the features, emotion and background. They have several backgrounds you can choose from, or you can take a picture and add your own background.
Next, you will adjust your character, record your voice, or type text.
Finally, it's time to share your "gami". You can share your "gami" via Facebook, Twitter, text or email.
Here is a sample "gami".
Classroom integration ideas:
- Use as a "get to know you" activity at the beginning of the year.
- Students can create mini book reports.
- Students can create a "gami" as a Mastery Check.
- Use with other Apps to create a full movie or Augmented Reality activity.
